What’s New:

The passwordless future is here with Enpass passkey management!

  • Passkeys are a super-secure alternative to passwords, using biometrics.
  • To use Enpass for passkeys in Android 14, in your phone’s Settings > Password and Identity, go to “Password, passkeys and data services,” then select Enpass.
  • To use passkeys on websites, enter “chrome://flags” in the Chrome address bar, search for “passkeys,” and change “Default” to “Enabled.”

Hello, everyone! We have some great changes for you in this release, including site-specific generated passwords, several improvements for Enpass Business users, and a handful of squished bugs.

What’s New:

  • Built-in Password Generator now checks if a website has specific password requirements before generating password suggestions.

ENPASS BUSINESS:

  • Vaults can now be created and stored in the Files section of Microsoft Teams channels.
  • Search is now available when opening or creating a vault in SharePoint Sites and Teams Channels.
  • Admins can now specify requirements and restrictions for Enpass to use when generating passwords.
  • Admins can now specify terms that should be discouraged from use in passwords.
  • Admins can now set users’ ability to create and share secondary vaults.

Fixes:

  • No more duplicate categories or duplicate tags showing up after syncing changes from another device.
  • The Symbols option in the Password Generator now requires characters that are common to most keyboards.
  • Search shortcut is now compatible with Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard.
  • Autofill is now compatible with physical keyboards, displaying as a pop-up below the selected field.
  • Items List now uses subtitles to help sort multiple Items with same title.
  • Category synchronization is now working properly.
  • Chances to an Item’s category now sync correctly.
  • In dark theme, password character positions (displayed when user long presses on a password) are now visible.

Hello everyone. We’re excited to share a big update with you. This release isn’t just about bug fixes and minor improvements. We’re celebrating the start of a whole new era for Enpass – Enpass for Business!

Businesses and large enterprises can now use Enpass to secure the passwords and sensitive data of their teams, and yes – we are still OFFLINE. We know not everyone is comfortable storing their passwords on someone else’s servers, and that applies to businesses too. Your wait for an offline password manager for your workplace is over now that Enpass for Business is here.

What’s New:

  • Enpass for businesses: If you’re in a business not using any password manager for team members and waited for any offline one, your wait is over! Enpass Business is here
  • keep your business sensitive data on your devices/cloud, set password policies, onboard users via SCIM supported Active Directory and there’s a lot more if you’re using Microsoft 365 Business. Check out our website for more!
  • New improved UI: The new UI is here to take your Enpass experience go up a couple of notches.
  • Automatic Compromised Password Checker: Compromised password checking is now automatic in Enpass and triggers whenever a new password is added or changed.

Fixes:

  • Fixed issues with autofill on Mein O2 app.
  • A small number of users were unable to scan the QR code to activate Wifi Sync. Fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where Nextcloud was creating 0KB files on Cloud.
  • Fixed an issue where the passwords were not getting auto-filled on tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in
  • Fixed an issue where the passwords were not getting auto-filled on ppomppu.co.kr
  • A “Click” toast message was shown while trying to auto-fill via the keyboard. Fixed.
  • Enpass was giving an option to autofill on the app lock screen for OnePlus devices. Fixed.
  • Cloud sync trigger caused searched list to refresh the item list. Fixed.
  • With over 2000 items, the app took more than 20 seconds to unlock. Fixed.
  • Enpass was not coming up as suggested app to open the enpasscard file. Fixed

Hello, loving beta testers!

This beta on Android comes with Wi-Fi Sync, letting you sync data across devices over your Wi-Fi or local network. Yes, that is without using any cloud service!

Please note that all your devices must be running the latest beta version of Enpass.

What’s New:

  • Introducing Wi-Fi Sync as a new way to sync data without using any cloud service. You can now sync between devices connected over your Wi-Fi or local network. Read more about it here
  • Support for autofill on Vivaldi.

Improvements:

  • Enhanced Enpass Keyboard now lets you control the Haptic feedback, dark theme, and has a number row.
  • All the tiles on the Audit dashboard with zero count will now be actionable, and count ‘0’ will be displayed in green color as good health.
  • Enpass can now trigger sync while autofilling passwords.

Fixes:

  • Some WebDAV servers were dropping the connection with Enpass because of “Mozilla” being used as User-Agent in the network requests, fixed this issue by changing the User-Agent to “Mozilla 5.0 Enpass”.
  • Fixed Autofill issue with aparts.pl, battle.net where enpass was not populating the password.
  • Enpass Autofill can identify login fields better on Swedish Websites by using additional information provided with the fields.
  • Enpass Keyboard didn’t recognize a few URLs and suggested all items from Enpass to Autofill. Fixed
  • Duplicate lists of matching items appeared while Autofilling on certain Apps. Fixed

In today’s update, we have changed the way how Enpass used to add shared items. Earlier, it used to read the clipboard automatically on every launch to look for shared items. By default, it won’t access the clipboard on start, and you can add any shared item by selecting ‘Add item from clipboard’ on the add item screen. If you want Enpass to check the clipboard at the start, as it used to be, enable a preference ‘Check clipboard on start up’ under Advanced Preferences.

Added an option on the welcome screen to Activate Enpass, allowing you to activate your license immediately after installation.

Updated Autofill to recognize additional hints for username and password fields.

What’s New:

  • Keyboard Shortcut for the Enpass extension: Like the Enpass desktop apps, you can now define a Keyboard Shortcut to fill the details in a Chrome browser. But unlike the desktop apps, there is no default Keyboard set, so you need to set it via Enpass Browser Extension > Navigate to Extension Options >  Keyboard Shortcuts.

Fixes:

  • High CPU Usage in Chromebooks: Many of our users reported that the previous Enpass beta version was consuming a high CPU usage, which forced them to close the app. This update will fix this problem and optimize the CPU usage so that you can use the app usually.
  • Blank screen while adding the TOTP: Some users were getting a blank screen while scanning the TOTP QR code on their Android devices. This problem mostly occurred on the mobile device having three or more cameras. It’s now fixed.
  • The app got crashed when a user was trying to open an attached text (.txt) file. Fixed.
  • Several random, rare crashes on the launch, and at other times have been eliminated.
  • The Enpass app occasionally didn’t unlock even after entering the correct PIN. Fixed.
  • Other minor fixes.

Improvements:

  • Improvement the Autofilling in Chromebooks: This update offers a better auto-filling, auto-capturing of the login details to ensure that you have a smooth browser experience.
